Summer just got better with MarkEd 360’s marketing summit!
Last June 10-11, 2023, MarkEd 360 made waves with their summer-themed marketing summit, with about 80 students from different senior high schools. This 2-day event at the UP College of Engineering Theatre featured asynchronous IMC modules, marketing talks, workshops with UP JMA’s AMP (Advanced Marketer’s Program), and a culminating case competition—including cash prizes and goodies! In partnership with St. Jude Catholic School Student Council, this event was conducted with the summer break in mind for SHS students to have a fruitful time cultivating their marketing competence.
UP JMA is grateful to have distinguished partners to support this summer’s summit. A talk led by Jil Bausa-Go of Kroma Entertainment, one of the event’s co-presenters, refreshed the participants’ basic marketing knowledge. Their very own Head of Marketing, Ro Manalo, was also present to discuss and sharpen the students’ campaign-making skills to suit their client’s goals.
The marketing event culminated in a case competition among the registered teams from various schools. The case study was centered on Philippine Interactive Entertainment (PIE), a media platform under Kroma Entertainment.
The team "Money Hayst!" from Philippine Science High School - Western Visayas Campus were crowned champions, followed by "Girls Profit Margin" from UP Integrated School as the first runner-up, and "Team Ambon" from Jubilee Christian Academy as the second runner-up.
Furthermore, the "Money Hayst!" team also received the Kroma Trailblazer Award for Innovative Executions and was recognized for Best Marketer and Best Presenter. Thanks to the event sponsors: Papa and Locally, not only did each winning team receive cash prizes, but they also got other rewards!
