MarkEd is UP JMA’s public marketing education arm and the organization's flagship project. It consists of multiple initiatives that cater to a variety of student audiences across the country. Among them are MarkEd 360°—a collegiate level marketing competition, Access Granted—a learning series for public school students on marketing education, and Markethink—an online educational series on digital marketing.
This semester, we spurred hope through marketing—showing how marketing can give light to the future despite present adversity.
With the pandemic ushering in the new normal, our projects tackled how different Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to groceries have adapted and used their brand to flourish. Our Access Granted program was a series of talks for public school students tackling marketing models in the new normal. On the other hand, our MarkEd 360° program focused on creating case competitions that will continue to be relevant even after the period of COVID-19.
