We Champion is a student-run social responsibility initiative—geared towards championing Filipino advocacies through a series of campaigns.

ABOUT US

Launched in 2019, We Champion is the organization’s main public relations arm—aimed towards addressing socially relevant Filipino issues. Through partnerships with various organizations and communities, We Champion aims to create meaningful initiatives that address society’s needs by providing long-term solutions. In the past, We Champion has targeted making sustainable nutrition more accessible.

THIS SEMESTER

We Champion: Health Check aims to educate Filipinos about the medical, economic, and political impact of the COVID-19 pandemic by providing relevant information and analysis through different lenses. Ultimately, the goal of the campaign is to foster a deeper understanding on the pandemic, identify how they can keep themselves healthy, stay updated on relevant current events, and understand what to expect from the affected sectors as time progresses.

We Champion: The Big Plate

In its pioneer campaign, We Champion advocated for making sustainable nutrition more accessible through: The Big Plate. With this in mind, The Big Plate partnered with DOST-FNRI to educate Filipino families on sustainable nutrition, and to conduct feeding programs and physical health check-ups—championing access to sustainable nutrition one barangay at a time.
